PREP: Interactive Lecture "Refugees and health service"_

Societies are changing and transforming. Technology, diversity, complexity are pushing society in a divers evolution. Also over 1 million refugees have crossed the borders of Europe in recent years. Each one forced to leave home because of war, disaster or other safety issues. As such refugees and migrants often have complex health needs based upon cumulative traumas experienced in their home country,  during their journey and in their new country. Are we as health professionals prepared? What can we do? 

What should we do? This will be an interactive lecture, challenging, sharing and exploring with an international teaching 

PREP is an EU project from Universities in EU, HvL  Bergen Norway, KI Stockholm Sweden, TCD Dublin Ireland, Duke University Durham, USA and Centre of migration health in Norway and Physiopedia. PREP stands for "Physiotherapy and Refugees Education Project",
